Avan Resume ("we," "our," or "us") is an application developed by Ajitha (Individual Developer). This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application handles your information.

Avan Resume is designed with a privacy-first, offline-centric approach. The core functionality of building and storing your resume data happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share your personal resume data with any external servers or cloud services.

Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect any personal information (such as your name, email, phone number, or work history) to our servers. However, because the Application utilizes advertising to offer premium features, certain non-personal device identifiers are collected by third-party ad networks (detailed below).

User Content

Resume Data: The personal details, education, work experience, skills, and contact information you enter are stored in a local database (Room Database) exclusively on your device.

Photos and Signatures: Any profile pictures or signature images you select are processed locally and are never uploaded to the internet.

PDF Generation: When you export a resume as a PDF, the file is generated entirely offline on your device and saved directly to your local storage.

Permissions

The app requests specific permissions to function correctly. These permissions are used solely for the stated purposes:

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used strictly to allow you to select a profile picture or signature image from your device gallery to place on your resume.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / STORAGE ACCESS FRAMEWORK: Used to save your final generated PDF resume to your device's storage.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used exclusively by the third-party advertising network (Google AdMob) to fetch and display ads when you choose to unlock a Premium Template.

Third-Party Services

Unlike a strictly offline app, Avan Resume uses Google AdMob to provide rewarded video ads. These ads allow you to unlock Premium Templates for free.

AdMob may use advertising IDs, cookies, and non-personal device information to serve personalized ads and analyze ad performance. By using the app, you consent to the processing of this data by Google.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18, and the advertising networks we use are configured to comply with child protection laws. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone.

Your resume data is stored securely in your device's internal sandbox. However, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device secure, use a screen lock, and avoid rooting your device to protect your local data.
